Testimonials
Dear Katie,

We just had to send a note to you to tell you how much we appreciated all your help with “Skipper.”

Since he returned from his one-month visit with you, he is a totally different dog. He is just as playful and fun as ever but
now he is also well behaved and manageable.

These are all the things he can now do, thanks to you:

•        Obey the “sit” command
•        Obey the “drop” command
•        Obey the “down” command
•        Come when he is called
•        Wait until I say “go see” before he greets visitors
•        Wait until I say “go get it” before retrieving his toy
•        Wait for the command “break” before he goes through the door
•        Walk wonderfully on his Gentle Leader
•        Go to his bed when I cue him
•        Go into his crate when I tell him
•        And he does not jump on our company

Both of us send our sincere gratitude to you for all your time and effort.  Since his stay at your house, our adorable
“Skipper” has become a much more enjoyable member of our family.

We both believe that the home visits that you offer with Skipper’s training program and the video you made of him
helped enormously.  You have made us both true believers in your “Pawsitive” system of dog training.

Before training with Katie, our four year old Australian Shepard, Hank, would
take any and every opportunity to steal from the counters. All of our yelling
and punishment did nothing to curb his "counter surfing" and it just left us and
our dog frustrated. After a couple of sessions with Katie, Hank learned to
make good decisions that earned him rewards. Now Hank responds to food on
the counters by lying down and all of us are happy!

I was having trouble keeping my dogs in my yard, I would call
them and they would just run, Katie is teaching us how to have
them understand their boundaries as  well as developing a
relationship with our dogs so they don't want to leave their
yard.  One of her best suggestions was to use a bed so that my dogs
understand self control. Katie made training my dog's fun... In the
past dog training was such a frustration, and I wasn't very successful
either. But they are now becoming great dogs to live with!!

classes we had so much fun with agility, we keep training!

As a teacher, I do a lot of research. I even flew to New York to get our
new Jack Russell puppy, Cricket.  Cricket had "big paws" to fill after the
loss of our family/horse show dog.  Our vet recommended Katie as a
trainer that is current and shows her own dogs.

Our schedule is hectic with horse shows, work and travel.  Katie gives
us a workable training schedule and at home visits for any special
puppy issues.  Jack Russell's love to bolt out the  door and visit the
neighbors.  After one week of trouble shooting, Cricket sits three steps
from the door and waits for her release cue!  After barking through our
family dinner, Cricket now quietly waits at our feet while we enjoy our meal.

Katie trains with absolute kindness and understands the reasons why Cricket behaves in a particular way .  Cricket has
great drive and motivation due to the fun Katie puts into training!  We have started to visit agility matches and are
training to compete.  Katie is a great role model. My daughter Emma has learned so much from Katie about training,
relating and caring for animals.  I recommend Katie Oilschlager to train your family to have a spectacular
relationship with your dog.  I also recommend Agility as a  great sport and exercise for yourself, kids and your dog!
